Uganda Insurer’s Association (UIA) proudly welcomed members of the Cancer Run Committee to our Kololo offices for a sponsorship cheque handover which showcased our commitment to intertwining the strength of insurance with the relentless fight against cancer.

Our CEO - Jonan Kisakye, pledged UIA’s continuous support for the Rotary Cancer Run, highlighting the pivotal role the insurance industry plays as an ally in this battle that affects countless Ugandans. He emphasized that UIA’s involvement goes beyond funding to reshaping how we approach cancer prevention and care in Uganda.

Jonan also pointed out that by promoting medical insurance, UIA is not merely providing a safety net but actively engaging in the mission to reduce cancer fatalities across the nation. He called upon both corporate and individuals to contribute to this cause which is a powerful reminder that the fight against cancer is a national duty.

We participated in the Rotary Cancer Run at UMA Lugogo Parking Grounds on 25th August 2024 a testament to our collective resolve to make a real difference. As we ran alongside thousands of fellow Ugandans, our team was not just raising awareness but also building a foundation for a future where cancer care is accessible, comprehensive, and life-saving.
