Achievements:

• The establishment of the Association Secretariat at Shell Capital, Kampala Road in 1992.
• 1994: His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni opened up the Insurance Seminar on “Insurance the Key to Sustainable Economic Development”.
• The UIA hosted the 25th African Insurance Organization (AIO) Conference in May 1998.
• The UIA hosted the 24th Organization of Eastern Southern Africa Insurers (OESAI) Conference from 17th – 20th July, 2001.
• Property Acquisition at Wampewo Kololo, and Plot 24A, Acacia Avenue-Kololo.
• The establishment of Uganda Re in 2002.
• The Launch of the first Code of Conduct in 2003.
